
EU Directive - Success!
Earlier this year we became aware of plans by the Home Office to cut protection for animals used in laboratory experiments. At NNCLT, we vehemently oppose vivisection, both on ethical and scientific grounds, so we sprung into action (see page 2 for our action page).
We are now very please to let you know that, thanks to all our supporters who signed petitions, wrote to their MPs etc, as well as the thousands of other wonderful people out there who did the same, the Home Office has decided to keep the current protection and actually start sorting out some loopholes as well - thank you all and wooohoooo!
