Organizer Robert Cheeke has retired this event due to his extensive travel and busy national speaking tour. There will not be a Vegan Holiday Festival in 2008. Robert and the organizers of the Vegan Holiday Festival would like to thank all the sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, presenters, volunteers, attendees and event organizers for their involvement over the past two years making this a fun and worthwhile event during the holiday season.
The future of the Vegan Holiday Festival is uncertain but could return in years to come. Thank you for your involvement and support over the past couple of years.

Please bring cash with you to the event, as many exhibitors will not have the ability to take credit cards and there is no ATM on site. Some exhibitors will take checks, but not all. There is an ATM across the street that has a $1. 50 service charge, so please remember to bring cash to make purchases at the festival.
Parking is available in the southeast corner of the school property (at the back of the school). There is a 100-spot parking lot near the park that is open to our use and will fill up quickly. Additional parking can be found on nearby streets including 16th, 17th, 18th, Glisan, Irving, etc.
See you Saturday, November 3rd! Remember, the first 100 people through the door get a free gift bag filled with donated goods from various businesses and valued at more than $20. |

The Vegan Holiday Festival came about because we felt there was need for this type of event during the Holiday season. The "Holidays" can be a sad time for vegans with the cruelty that goes on in food production for this season. Our Vegan Holiday Festival is meant to uplift, inspire, educate and motivate people to make healthier and more compassionate food and lifestyle choices now, and throughout the rest of the year. This festival will not only highlight vegan food companies, but a wide variety of vegan-friendly goods, services, products and individuals. We feel that this single event will save thousands of animal lives and will be life-changing for the attendees. We expect over 1000 people at the festival, nearly 100 local and national exhibitors, and amazing presenters, so please join us! |

Testimonials from the 2006 Vegan Holiday Festival: |

"The Vegan Holiday Festival is the crown jewel of the diet gatherings. Not only is the festival well attended, it is the best managed I have ever attended. The best use of your time is to come early and stay late. "
Howard F. Lyman LL. D. President Voice for a Viable Future
" This was the best vegan event I've ever been to. Thank you for your wonderful energy and work putting together the most memorable and successful vegan event in Portland!" - Ani Phyo, Speaker - Founder of Smart Monkey Foods/Author Ani's Raw Food Kitchen
"This was just as good as any established event that has a full staff working on it year round and has been around for years. " - Brendan Brazier, Speaker - Formulator of Vega/Best Selling Author
"I am inspired to use my direct action experience more now than ever. After the event I am convinced the issue of animal rights is the number one topic to evince good change. This topic encapsulates all others. It leads to the discussion of environmentalism, consumerism, sustainability, "war on terror", human rights, all around good health. Thank you Robert, I can speak for many when I say that we are very pleased you chose to move to Portland. " - Festival Attendee
"I can't believe how awesome this event was! Probably more than 1300 attending! I couldn't believe how many people were there, and most of them said they are vegan. Wow, the food was amazing, the people were warm and ultra friendly, the speakers were astounding. " - Festival Attendee
"Thank you for inviting us to the Vegan Holiday Festival! It was inspiring to see such a great turnout, and we had an awesome time! Looking forward to next year" - Festival Exhibitor
